Will Edwin Hawks

Will Edwin Hawks, age 83, of Randleman died Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at Randolph Hospice House, Asheboro. Mr. Hawks was born November 1, 1931 the son of Holt E. and Lollie Belle Maddox Hawks. Mr. Hawks was a native of Thomasville, NC and a US Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was retired from Kaiser-Roth (Burlington Mills) and served for several years on the Randleman City Planning Board. Will enjoyed talking with anyone (even Republicans) and was known for never meeting a stranger. He is preceded in death by the love of his life, his wife: Doris Jean Hunt Hawks. He is survived by: son and his girlfriend: Mike Hawks and Donna Bright of Asheboro, NC; son and his wife: Chris and Anna Hawks of Randleman, NC; special grandson and apple of his eye: Christopher Hawks; and step grandchildren: Leah and Taylor Ritch. The family will receive friends Friday, July 3, 2015 from 6-8 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC. The funeral will be Saturday, July 4, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel, Randleman with Rev. Terry Bailey officiating.
