Wilbert Lingard

Wilbert L. Lingard Jr., Age 85, passed away on Friday, April 26th 2013 at the Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro, North Carolina. He was born and raised in Newark. He lived in Parsippany before moving to Randleman, North Carolina 15 years ago. Wilbert proudly served his country in the United States Navy until being honorably discharged. He worked as an Apparatus Cleaner for Bell Telephone in North Jersey for many years before retiring. Wilbert was predeceased by his beloved wife, Charlotte May (nee-Ackerman) on 11/2/2012. He is survived by his son, Wayne and his wife Marilyn of Hackettstown; his daughter, Nancy Best of Randleman, North Carolina; his four cherished grandchildren: Ainsley Mercek and her husband Jonathan, Katie Lankford and her husband Joseph, Michael Booth and his wife Paula, and Roger Best; and his four treasured great-grandchildren: Andrew and Brianna Lankford and Emily & Amber Booth. Relatives & friends are invited to attend his visitation on Saturday, May 4, 2013 from 10:00 a.m. to 12 Noon, with a Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. at Par-Troy Funeral Home, 95 Parsippany Road, Parsippany, NJ. Interment will follow in Restland Memorial Park, 77 DeForest Avenue, East Hanover.
