Wesley Kish, 64, of Randleman entered the gates of heaven on January 4, 2018 after a short but courageous battle with cancer. Wesley was born in Suffern, New York on November 8, 1953 and grew up in Butler, New Jersey. In 1972 he moved to Asheboro, NC to raise a family and recently just moved to Randleman to be close to family due to declining health. Wesley was the son of Alex and Ruth Virginia Carter Kish and was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Sharon Kish. Wesley is survived by his devoted and loving wife of 49 years, Ellen Trochan Kish of Randleman and companion "Angel". Daughters, Ellen Marie Kish Linthicum and husband Lee of Sophia, Cheryl Ann Kish of Randleman, Ruth Virginia Kish of Asheboro; brothers, Roger Kish and wife Gaye of West Milford, NJ, George Kish of Rural Hall; cousins, John Kish, Julie Kish Coppa; brothers-in-law, Tom Trochan, Michael Trochan and Joseph Truchan; and many nieces and nephews. Wesley attended Butler High school in Butler New Jersey however he received his high school diploma with honors from Randolph Community College and recently just completed the North Carolina beekeepers certification test. Wesley was a loving and devoted husband who worked hard to provide for his family. While attending trucking school Wesley received the Top Achiever Award for his class. He went on to fulfill his lifelong dream of being the owner operator of his own company W.A. Kish, Inc. While driving for other companies he received many safe driver awards and The Million Mile Award. In 2015 Wesley retired from the City of High Point as a heavy equipment operator. Wesley loved motorcycles, target shooting, working on guns, archery and deer hunting. He was an avid animal lover and rescued many dogs. He loved hanging out with the guys at the Silver Dollar Gun & Pawn, and Guns and Gear. At the request of Wesley, no services will be held. The family request donations in Wesley's honor be made to Hospice of Randolph, 416 Vision Dr., Asheboro, NC 27203 or The Fort Rescue at Blue Flint Animal Hospital, 1527 Zoo Parkway, Asheboro, NC 27205.
