Wesley Ervin Jordan

Wesley Ervin Jordan, age 88, of 2458 Waterside Dr., Asheboro died Tuesday, May 4, 2010 at Randolph Hospital, Asheboro. Mr. Jordan was a native of Randolph County and was a lineman with Weeks and Andrews Construction Co. and became part owner of Andrews Construction Co. He then worked with Carolina Power and Light before retiring at which time he became a car dealer and enjoyed wood carving. He is survived by one daughter, Dona Faye Jordan Pittman of Ayden; sister, Doralena Rich of Asheboro, brother, David Jordan of Asheboro; 5 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 6, 2010 at 1:00 pm at Neighbors Grove Wesleyan Church with Rev. Don Hurlbert, Dr. Ron Hamilton and Rev. Doug Dennis officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service in the church fellowship hall and other times at the home of Doralena Rich, 2458 Waterside Dr., Asheboro.
