Wayne Douglas Strong

Wayne Douglas Strong, age 71, of 1474 Deer Run Dr., Randleman died Thursday, January 20, 2011 at Randolph Hospital, Asheboro. A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 22, 2011 at 11:00 am at Body of Christ Christian Fellowship in Level Cross with Rev. Donnie Nease officiating. Mr. Strong was a native of Deposit, NY and retired from New York State Electric and Gas after 31 years of service. He was an active bowler, golfer, fisherman, and loved camping. He was also an active member of the Moose Lodge. Mr. Strong was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He is survived by his wife, Christine Strong; sons, David Strong and James Strong both of New York; daughters, Corina Payne of Level Cross, Deborah Hodge of Level Cross, Tammy Liechti of New York; brothers, Alton Strong and David Strong both of New York; sister, Sharon Robinson of New York; several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
