Wayne Kinney, Sr.

Clifford Wayne Kinney, Sr., age 55, of 1681 Tot Hill Farm Rd., Asheboro died Tuesday, May 24, 2011 at his home. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 26, 2011 at 11:00 AM at New Hope Memorial Gardens, 3448 New Hope Church Road, Asheboro with The Rev'd. Canon R. Larry Emerson officiating. Mr. Kinney was a native of Randolph County and was of the Baptist faith. He operated Kinney's Repair, a family business, for many years and later was employed with Asheboro Key & Lock as a Locksmith. He was preceded in death by his father Warren G. Kinney, brother David Kinney, and sister Dorothy. Wayne loved motorcycles, four wheelers, cars and was exceptionally talented mechanically. He was a loving husband, daddy, friend, brother, and a devoted son. He was a quiet, caring, and great man. August 7, 2011 would have been he and his wife Debbie's 29th anniversary. He is survived by his wife, Debbie Blake Kinney; daughters, Jennifer Lauren Kinney and Tonia Linette Kinney both of the home; son, Clifford Wayne Kinney, Jr. of the home; mother, Susie Hughes Kinney of Asheboro, NC; brothers, Gary Kinney and his wife Debbie Thomas Kinney, Allen Kinney and his wife Carol Kinney; sister, Jane Shaw and her husband Wesley Shaw; several nieces and nephews; and beloved dogs, Dash, PeeDee, and Diesel. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 25, 2011 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC. Memorials may be made to Hospice Of Randolph, P.O.
