Wayne Harvell

Wayne Harvell, age 77, of New London died Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at his home. Mr. Harvell was born May 22, 1935 in Randolph County to Reece and Pauline Graves Harvell. , Mr. Harvell was the retired owner and manager of Country Saw and Cycle. Prior to this, he was director of transportation for Klaussner Furniture for 22 years. Mr. Harvell was a member of New Union United Methodist Church and loved traveling and working in his yard. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Harvell; daughters, Karen Parrish of Randleman, Ilene Hieronymus and her husband Cody of Wilmington; granddaughter, Christina Wright of Franklinville; sisters, Linda Reeder and her husband Clyde of Seagrove, Trilla Hunt of Sophia; brother, Johnny Harvell and his wife Nancy of Asheboro; nephew, Gary Hunt and his wife Sheryl of Asheboro. The family will receive friends Saturday, November 17, 2012 from 11:00 AM to 12:45 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro. A memorial service will follow at 1:00 pm in the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Johnny Harvell officiating.
