Jesse Wayne Barnes, age 47, of 310 Ashwood Road, Robbins died Monday, October 6, 2008 at Moore Regional Hospital, Pinehurst. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. at Brown's Chapel Christian Church, Seagrove with Mr. Leonard Moore officiating. Burial will follow in Suggs Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Barnes was a native of Randolph County and was formerly employed with A&M Construction in Randleman. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Ann Barnes of Asheboro, NC; daughter, Nicole Hamm of Princeton, WV; son, Matthew Wayne Cooper; mother, Janet L. Barnes of Asheboro, NC; stepsons, Kenny Davis of Randleman, NC; Patrick Spinks of Asheboro, NC; Terrell Spinks of Ramseur, NC; stepdaughters, Nicole Woodell of Asheboro, NC; Sasha Spinks of Asheboro, NC; 5 grandchildren; sister, Beverly Barnes of Asheboro, NC and brother, Jimmy Ray Barnes of Seagrove, NC. The family will receive friends on Friday, October 10, 2008 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC.
