Wayland Johnson

Paul Wayland Johnson, age 59, formerly of Asheboro died Saturday, November 13, 2010 in Raleigh. A memorial service will be held Thursday, November 18, 2010 at 3:00 pm at Spoons Chapel Christian Church with Rev. John Auler officiating. Mr. Johnson was a native of Asheboro and was currently residing in Raleigh where he attended Hope Community Church. Mr. Johnson had a good sense of humor, never met a stranger and would help anyone he came in contact with. He enjoyed working outside and landscaping. He was a loving brother, father and grandfather whose greatest joy was his grandchildren. He is survived by daughter, Alicia Johnson and her husband Ronnie Beasley of Maxton; grandchildren, Sara Adams, Lyndon Kennedy, Alivia Beasley, Eva Beasley all of Maxton; sister, Diane Kinney and her husband Binford of Asheboro.
