Warren Haran Leach

Warren Haran Leach, age 75, of 5387 Seagrove Plank Road, Asheboro died Sunday, September 15, 2002 at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center, Winston- Salem. Mr. Leach was born May 18, 1927 in Randolph County, NC the son of the late John Dennis and the late Mozelle (Hancock) Leach. He married Mary Dickerson August 13, 1949. He served in the Army during World War II . He was retired as plant supervisor of Lucks Beans after 35 years of service. He attended Grace Baptist Temple. After his retirement he drove a school bus for the Seagrove Elementery School. In 1995 he was the outstanding bus driver for Randolph County, and was presented the Tracy Calhoun award. He is survived by his wife Mary Dickerson: one son and daughter-in-law: Don and Rachel Leach of Asheboro, NC; grandson and his wife, Christopher Warren and Stacey Leach; and grandson, Richard Jason Leach of Asheboro, NC; one sister: Jerri Cooper of Asheboro, NC; and one brother: Bill Leach, Sr. of Asheboro, NC The family will receive friends Monday from 7 - 9 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC and at other times at the home of his son, 119 Lisbon Road, Asheboro. The funeral will be Tuesday at 2:00 at Grace Baptist Temple Church, 6120 US Highway 220 S Alt., Asheboro with Rev. Arnold Ray Comer and Rev. Clay Davis officiating.
