Wanda Greene Phillips

Wanda Greene Phillips, age 82, of Asheboro passed away on Friday, December 18, 2015 at Randolph Health & Rehabilitation. Mrs. Phillips was born in Spruce Pine, NC on November 16, 1933 to Arthur Heap and Etta Cora McKinney Greene. She was retired from Cross Road Retirement Community and formerly attended Mt. Calvary Independent Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Wanda was preceded in death by her husband, Max Phillips, 8 brothers and 1 sister. She is survived by her daughters, Gail Frazier and husband Ronnie of Asheboro, Susan Rigg and husband Roger of Wilmington; sons, Bobby L. Autrey and wife Julia and Mike Autrey and wife Becky all of Liberty; 8 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; and brother, Tony Greene of Ft. Myers, FL. A memorial service will be held on Monday, Dec. 21, 2015 at 6:00PM at To God Be the Glory Ministries with Rev. Barry Presnell officiating. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff of Randolph Health & Rehabilitation for the loving care given to Wanda. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to To God Be the Glory Ministries.
