Walter Raeford Wright

Walter Raeford Wright, age 75, of Seagrove passed away on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at his home. Mr. Wright was born in Asheboro on September 13, 1942 to Clarence and Sylvia Brown Wright, who preceded him in death. He was a member of Whynot Wesleyan Church of Seagrove. Raeford was retired from Energizer Battery after 35 years of service. He is survived by his wife, Rachel White Wright; daughter, Cathy Goodman and husband Michael of Biscoe; sons, Craig Wright of Seagrove and Kevin Wright and wife Missy of Seagrove; grandchildren, Christina Goodman of Ether, Jacob Wright of Seagrove, Amy Wright of Asheboro, Marli Hogan of Seagrove; great grandson, Charlie Fuson; sister, Louise Lenhart of Kernersville; and brother, Richard Wright and wife Betsy of Seagrove. The family will receive friends on Friday, January 26, 2018 from 1:00-2:00 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro. Funeral services will follow on Friday at 2:00 pm at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Darrell Rabon officiating.
