Walter Keith Johnson

Walter Keith Johnson, age 56, of Asheboro passed away on Monday, October 24, 2016 at Randolph Hospital. Mr. Johnson was a native of Clinton, NC. He had been employed with Wells Hosiery for 18 years. Keith was preceded in death by his parents, Edward Lee and Ina Pearl Richardson Johnson and brother, Jackie Bass formerly of Spivey's Corner, NC. He is survived by his wife, Wendy Johnson; son, Josh Watkins of Asheboro; step sons, Jason Henley, Timmy Henley, David Henley, Donnie Henley, and Billy Henley; several grandchildren; brothers, Danny Johnson and wife Lyn of Kernersville; sisters, Darla McDonald and husband John of Asheboro, Jean Buie and husband David of Archdale, Peggy Tilley and husband Jimmy of Archdale, Elernor West of Midway, Gail Zimmerman and husband Shorty of Wendell and Dolores Ruggles of Dunn; and mother-in-law, Anita Hawkins of the home. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 27, 2016 at 2:00 pm at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro with Danny Johnson officiating.
