Wakako Iida Routh

Wakako Iida Routh, age 80, formerly of Franklinville died Friday, January 2, 2009 at Adams Farm Living and Rehabilitation, Jamestown, NC.Mrs. Routh was born April 29, 1928 the daughter of Keizaburo and Mie (Yoshie) Iida. Mrs. Routh was a native of Japan and retired from Laughlin Hosiery Mill. She met her husband, James H. Routh in Japan, while he was serving in the US Armed Forces during the Korean Conflict. He preceded her in death.She is survived by brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Larry Routh and Helen Jarrett of Franklinville, NC; Blanche Allred, Ruby Routh, Mary and Dale Inman, Dianne and Clay Routh all of of Randleman, NC; R. P. and Ruby Routh of Greensboro, NC; Frank and Sondra Routh of Asheboro, NC; and several special nieces and nephews.The family will receive friends Monday, January 5, 2009 from 6-8 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC and other times at the home of Larry Routh 1902 Mamie Mae Road, Franklinville, NC. The graveside service will be Tuesday, January 6, 2009 at 2:00 PM at Randolph Memorial Park, 4538 US Hwy 220 Bus. North, Asheboro with Rev. Jeff Joyce officiating.
