Wade R. Singleton

Wade R. Singleton, age 92, of Asheboro died Thursday, December 14, 2017.

Mr. Singleton was born May 6, 1925 in Seagrove to Henry and Etta Singleton.

Mr. Singleton was a good Christian man who was a member of North Asheboro Church of God. He was a strong willed, hard-working gentleman with a humble spirit. Mr. Singleton had a great love for his family and enjoyed making people laugh, especially his grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Mr. Singleton was preceded in death by his children, Stephen, Rebecca, Danny, Brenda, Dennis and Linda and sister, Rosa.

He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Stella Adams Singleton; son, John Robbins and wife Sharon of Lexington; grandchildren, Madison Elizabeth and Mason Cole Wilson; numerous other grandchildren and great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Monday, December 18, 2017 from 6 - 8 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at 2:00 PM at North Asheboro Church of God, 1373 Randolph-Tabernacle Rd., Asheboro with Rev. Scott Daniel and Rev. Lee Carter officiating. Burial will be in New Hope Memorial Gardens.
