Wade Rufus Cranford

Wade "Buddy" Rufus Cranford, age 61, of 718 Pleasant Cross Rd., Asheboro died Friday, November 7, 2008 at Randolph Hospital, Asheboro. Mr. Cranford was born May 13, 1947 in Asheboro, NC the son of Colon and Bessie Harrelson Cranford. Mr. Cranford was a native of Randolph County. He was formerly employed with Dixie Furniture and Lexington Home Brand Furniture. He is survived by his wife, Martha Alice Davis Cranford of Asheboro, NC; one son: Brian Keith Cranford and his wife Chrissy of Cherryville, NC; Grandson, Christopher Brian Cranford of Cherryville, NC; sister: Elaine Hill of Asheboro, NC and brother: Mike Cranford of Asheboro, NC. The family will receive friends Sunday, November 9th from 6:00-8:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC. The funeral will be Monday, November 10th at 2:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Perry Brown and Doug McCannon officiating. Burial will follow in Randolph Memorial Park, Asheboro.
