Virginia Gallimore Vestal

Virginia Gallimore Vestal, age 89, of Asheboro died Friday, October 27, 2017 at Randolph Hospice House.

Mrs. Vestal was born in Randolph County on February 12, 1928 to Robert and Doskie Wall Gallimore. She was a member of West Chapel United Methodist Church and operated Vestal's Daycare. In addition to her parents, Virginia was preceded in death by her husband, John Vestal, and siblings, Burley Gallimore, Garland Gallimore, Harold Gallimore, and Carol Ledwell.

She is survived by her son, John Vestal, Jr. of Asheboro; sister, Ruth Tedder of Asheboro; brothers, Ralph Gallimore and wife Barbara of Trinity, Jimmy Gallimore and wife Betty of Asheville.

A graveside service will be held Sunday, November 5, 2017 at 1:00 PM at West Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery, 1739 Westchapel Road, Asheboro with Rev. Lynn Chaney and Rev. Bob Chaney officiating.
