Virginia Emmaline Stevenson

Virginia Emmaline Welborn Stevenson, age 93, of 500 Mountain Top Dr., Asheboro died Monday, February 25, 2013 at Clapps Convalescent Nursing Home, Asheboro. Mrs. Stevenson was born January 21, 1920 the daughter of Spencer and Anna Belle Fisher Welborn. Mrs. Stevenson was born in Tennessee but resided in Winston-Salem most of her life. She was a homemaker and of the Methodist faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Stevenson, and her sister, Nell Campbell of Vermont. She is survived by one daughter and her husband: Jan & Ronnie Masten of Beaufort, NC; granddaughter: Missi Masten Foster and her husband Jim of Asheboro, NC; grandson: Shayne Masten of Beaufort, NC; great-grandchildren: Benjamin, Jacob and Rachel Foster; sisters: Clarice Edwards of Stafford, VA, Rhoda Ann Hendren of Moravian Falls, NC. A memorial service will be held Friday, March 1, 2013 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel at Parklawn Memorial Park, 2730 Peters Creek Parkway, Winston-Salem, NC.
