Virginia Small

Virginia McGee Small, age 81, formerly of Plainfield Church Rd., Sophia, died Monday, June 1, 2009 at GrayBrier Nursing and Retirement Center in Trinity. A graveside service will be held Thursday, June 4, 2009 at 11:00 am at Randolph Memorial Park with Rev. Ralph Webb officiating. Mrs. Small was a native of Kernersville and was also known as "Aunt Jenny". Along with her late husband, Ralph Small, they operated Tracy's BBQ in High Point from 1965 until 1975 and she also operated the High Point Coffee Shop from 1970 until 1990. Mrs. Small was also preceded in death by her brother, Henry McGee and sisters, Margaret Durham and Gladys Jones. She is survived by her niece, Linda McGee Cutter of Archdale; nephews, Kenneth McGee of Sophia, Tony McGee of Archdale, Raymond Robertson, Elwood Robertson, Wayne Robertson all of Greensboro; niece, Phyllis Robertson of Greensboro; numerous great nieces and nephews and numerous great great nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Thursday, June 4, 2009 from 9:30-10:30 am at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 S. Main St., Randleman.
