Virginia Hill Mebane

Virginia H. Mebane, born June 30, 1926 in Eden, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, February 6, 2015. Mrs. Mebane was retired from the Employment Security Commission in Greensboro and was a member of Level Cross Baptist Church. Virginia was preceded in death by her loving husband Clark "Nick" Mebane and her brother Bill Hill of Orlando, FL. Virginia loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren who lovingly referred to her as "NoNo." She is survived by her 4 children, Nick Mebane of Mebane, Mary Skinner and husband Otis of Randleman, Jennifer Triplett and husband Steve of Granite Falls, and Henry Hill and wife Kit of Brown Summit; step daughter, Ann Levine of Atlanta, GA; 12 grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren. She had 4 living sisters and 1 living brother, Marcia Rudd and husband Ronnie of Caswell County, Louise Nowlin of Providence, Jane Giles and husband Curtis of Pensacola, FL, Dorothy McBride and husband "Mac" of Stoneville; and sister-in-law, Cathy Hill of Orlando, FL. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Level Cross Baptist Church, 10169 US Hwy 220 Business North, Randleman with Rev. Jerry Mills officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawm Cemetery in Greensboro. The family will receive friends on Monday, February 9, 2015 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman.
