Virginia Hough

Virginia "Ginny" Brown Hough passed away Christmas morning, 2009, at Randolph Hospital, Asheboro. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 30, 2009, at the First United Methodist Church in Siler City. Interment will follow at a later date. The family will receive visitors in the fellowship hall following the service. Ginny was born September 4, 1926 in Robbins, NC to the late George Washington Brown and Sarah Jane Garner Brown. She was preceded in death by her husband, Max Hough, two sisters, Maty Smith and Mazie Burke, and four brothers, John Brown, Lester Brown, Lacy Brown, and Beecher Brown. She is survived by her daughter, Jane Muse, and one sister, Mearl Bruner of Lakeland, FL, and her beloved nieces and nephews, and step grandson, Chris Morton. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 212, Siler City, NC 27344. Pugh Funeral Home, Asheboro is in charge of arrangements.
