Virginia Robinson Anderson

ASHEBORO—Virginia Faith Robinson Anderson, age 76, of Asheboro, passed away on December 1, 2015 at her home. Mrs. Anderson was born in Wilmington, NC on March 24, 1939 to Charles Henry and Bessie Alene Perry Robinson. In addition to her parents, Virginia was preceded in death by her son, Perry Allen Lockamy, daughter, Gwen Olson Bullins, brothers, Morris and Leon Robinson, and sister, Mildred Haley. Virginia loved gardening, crafts, and sewing. She was a homemaker and caregiver to her six wonderful children. Virginia had a great sense of humor. She loved life and trips to the coast. She is survived by her daughters, Lynn Lockamy Smith, Angela Faith Kinney, and Summer Dawn McMillon all of Asheboro; son, Ellis Ray Lockamy, Jr. of Asheboro; grandchildren, Michael Shane Wright and wife Ashley of Asheboro, Joshua Abdo Kharrat of Wilmington, Tamber Paige Kinney of Asheboro, Destiny Alene McMillon of Asheboro, Trevor Wade McMillon of Asheboro, Lindsay Rae Olson of Wisconsin, Lorna Marie Olson of Wisconsin, Elisha Rae Lockamy of Asheboro; 5 great grandchildren; and brother Charles “Dink” Robinson of Wilmington. The family will receive friends on Friday, December 4, 2015 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Ave. in Asheboro. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 5, 2015 at 2:00 pm at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Randolph Memorial Park.
