Viola Coble

Viola Dunn Coble, age 83, of 3505 Buffalo Ford Road, Asheboro died Friday, March 5, 2010 at Randolph Hospital in Asheboro. Mrs. Coble was born September 6, 1926 in Montgomery County, NC, the daughter of the late Wesley and Ausa (Deaton) Dunn and was formerly employed with Sapona Manufacturing and Acme McCrary. She was preceded in death by her husband, Millard Coble, two sisters and four brothers. Mrs. Coble lived her life giving and helping others without ever thinking of herself. She will be greatly missed by her family and all that knew her. She is survived by her sister: Mamie Parks of the home; Niece and her Husband, Frances and Buster Pegram of Greensboro, NC; Great Nephews: David King of Brown Summit, NC and Chris King of McLeansville, NC. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 12:30-1:30 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC. The funeral will be at 2:00 PM at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. George W. Roberson officiating. Burial will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery.
