Viola Morgan Auman

Viola Morgan Auman, age 81, of 1061 Bunting Rd., Asheboro died Tuesday, January 4, 2011 at Randolph Hospital. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 6, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Cross Road Baptist Church, 1566 Old Cox Road, Asheboro with Pastor Johnny R. Henderson officiating. Burial will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery. Mrs. Auman was a native of Randolph County, a homemaker, and was an active member of Cross Road Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband L.R. Auman, Jr. Viola was a loving mother, grandmother, and sister. She is survived by her daughters, Dianne A. Moorefield of Asheboro, NC, Doris A. Thompson and her husband Tony of Star, NC; son, Donald Auman of Star, NC; granddaughters, Mary Moorefield of Asheboro, NC, Amanda Spencer and her husband Micheal of Seagrove, NC; brothers, Clanie Morgan of Robbins, NC, Lamon Morgan of Richmond, VA, Vernie Morgan of Raleigh, NC; and sister, Edith Kennedy of Robbins, NC. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 5, 2011 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC.
