Victoria "Tori" Elizabeth Scofield

Victoria Elizabeth "Tori" Scofield, age 19, of Asheboro passed away on Tuesday, October 24, 2017.

Tori was born in Asheboro on July 8, 1998. Tori was a member of the Southwestern Randolph High School Class of 2016.  Tori was referred to as "The Magnet Child" because of her magnetic personality. She was full of life and would light up any room that she walked into. Tori enjoyed sports, especially football and baseball. Tori was preceded in death by her brother, Riley Gardner, grandfather, Ezra O. Scofield, and grandmother, Catherine L. Chriscoe.

She is survived by her mother, Jonie Gardner of Asheboro; father, Frank B. Scofield and fiancé Erin Crabtree of Liberty; brothers, Frank B. Scofield III and Michael Scofield, grandmother, Lynne Scofield of Asheboro; grandparents, Michael R. And Patsy Chriscoe of Seagrove; great-grandmother, Martha E. Chriscoe of Seagrove; several aunts and uncles; and many cousins.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 28, 2017 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, October 29, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Asbury Baptist Church, 395 Asbury Church Rd., Seagrove with Rev. Wayne Bryson officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
