Veva Ellen Cashatt-Cooper

Veva Ellen Cashatt-Cooper, age 54, of Sophia died Monday, August 4, 2014 at her home. Ellen was a native of Randolph County and a graduate of Guilford College and a member of Cedar Square Friends Meeting. She worked with the High Point Police Department and was a Master Police Officer. She retired in 1991 after 12 years of service. Ellen is preceded in death by her father, Robert Sidney Cashatt. She is survived by her husband: Gary Clay Cooper, Jr. of the home; daughter: Courtney Cooper of Pfafftown son: Dylan Cooper of Kernersville; mother, Doris Davis Cashatt of Randleman; sister: Cathy Wilkins (Dennis) of Sophia; brother: Davis Cashatt (Alisa) of Randleman; nieces, Poppy Cox (David) and Heather Wright (Jason); nephews, Jason Wilkins (Amber) and Zackary Cashatt (Rachel); special caregivers, Brandi Franklin and Megan Mabe. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, August 6, 2014 at 11:00 am at Cedar Square Friends Meeting, 7546 Harlow Rd., Archdale with Rev. Ben Hurley, Rev. Mike Butler and Rev.
