Vassana "Vicky" Yoousawat Morgan

Vassana “Vicky” Yoousawat Morgan, age 73, of Asheboro passed away on July 21, 2024 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Medical Center. 

Ms. Morgan was born in Kurat, Thailand on February 6, 1951. She was employed with Randolph Packing for over 20 years surrounded by numerous friends and coworkers that adored her. Vicky spoke 3 languages, English, Thai, and Spanish. If she wanted to get to know someone, she made it happen, language was no obstacle for her. She enjoyed fishing, gambling, movies, gardening, and meeting new people. Vicky was very hard working, determined, and a caring mother. Her family was the most important part of her life, and she loved cooking for them. Her love was unique, but forever and unwavering.

She is survived by her sons, George W. Lyon and Christopher R. Lyon; daughter, Charlene H. Woods; grandchildren, Taylor Autumn Lyon, Adella Nicole Lyon, Cadence B. Lyon, Bri’Yanna M. Lyon, Christian G. Lyon, Jalen X. Lyon, Layla N. Hash, Victoria J. Hash, Claudia M. Hash, and Peyton R. Shamburger; great grandchild, Josiah G. Lyon; sister, Chaunpit Schirmer; niece, LeeAnn Turner, nephew, Jimmy Turner, and great nephew, Jeremy Turner.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
