Truman O. Nance, age 66, of 2227 Hopewell Friends Rd., Asheboro died Friday, October 31, 2008 at Randolph Hospital, Asheboro. Mr. Nance was born March 17, 1942 in Randolph County, the son of the Everette H. and the Chloie Callicutt Nance. He was a native of Randolph County, a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War, and was retired from Pugh Oil Company. He was preceded in death by his parents, Everette H. and Chloie Callicutt Nance; brother, Dempsey Nance. He is survived by his Wife: Martha Bowers Nance; Daughter and her Husband, Anissa Nance and Brad Lowe of Asheboro, NC; Son and his Wife, Jeffery D. And Kristy Nance of Lumberton, NC; granddaughter, Ashley Lowe; Grandson, Mason Nance ; brothers: Everette Nance, Jr , Ira E. Nance and Clinton C. Nance all of Asheboro, NC ; sister: Evelyn N. Stout of Asheboro, NC The family will receive friends Sunday, November 2, 2008 from 6 - 8 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC. The funeral will be Monday, November 3, 2008 at 2:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro with Rev. Daniel Thames officiating. Burial will be in Hopewell Friends Meeting Cemetery, Asheboro with Military Honors by Randolph County Honor Guard. Memorials may be made to Hospice Of Randolph, P.O.
