Troy Walls

Troy Gene Walls of Kernersville, N.C. was born on May 6, 1968.  Troy entered eternal rest on September 1, 2023, at the age of 55.

Troy was survived by his 3 sons Tyler Walls (Brittany) of Chapel Hill, Evan Walls of Randleman, and Neil Walls of Kernersville.  Sisters, Michelle Walker (Dyyeun) of Greensboro, Crystal Walls of Asheboro, brother, James Walls (Stephanie) of Asheboro.  Mother Ann Bowles (Alvis) of Randleman, step-sister, Jennifer Bowles and lifelong best friend for over 40 years, Patty Walls of Randleman. Troy was preceded in death by his father Herbert Gene Walls.

The family will be having a "Celebration of Life: ceremony in his honor on Saturday, September 9, 2023 from 4-6 pm at Pugh Funeral Home in Randleman, N.C.

The family will lay his ashes to rest in the family cemetery in West Virginia.

For those who knew Troy knows he loved the game of baseball.  Troy dedicated his life to coaching. His proudest moments were with his Crushers Baseball team. He impacted the lives of so many through his years of coaching on and off the field.

Troy was a funny, smart, witty, kindhearted soul. To know him was to love him.  Troys greatest treasures were his 3 sons Tyler, Evan, and Neil.  They were his prized possession in life. He was a family man and loved his family dearly, and whole heartedly. He would help out anyone in need, he was so kind.

"In lieu of flowers he would ask you to do and unexpected and unsolicited act of kindness for some poor unfortunate soul in his honor."

We all know Troy has gained his angel wings.  Fly high Troy and watch over all of us. We love you forever and always.
