Travis William Halterman

Travis William Halterman, age 34, of Asheboro died Monday, January 23, 2017 at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital, Greensboro. Mr. Halterman was born June 1, 1982 and was a native of Asheboro. He attended Asheboro High School and formerly employed in landscaping. Travis had a warm smile and never met a stranger. He is loved and will be missed. He is survived by three sons: Aayron Hunt, Braxton Hunt and Nathaniel Hunt; fiancé: Latasha Wade of Level Cross; mother: Sue Ellen Ward and her fiancé Franky Hancock; sister: Barbara Ann Halterman of Asheboro; nephew: Ivan Ray Cruz of Asheboro; niece: Hayle Cruz of Asheboro; aunts and uncles: Joan and Cody Pulliam of Asheboro, Monty and Beverly Ward of Lexington, Dean and Karen Ward of Oklahoma; and many extended family and friends. The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 29, 2017 from 5:00-7:00 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Ave., Asheboro followed by a memorial service at 7:00 pm in the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Rev.
