Tonya Lynn Bray LeGrande

Tonya Lynn Bray LeGrande, age 52, of High Point passed away on November 14, 2023 after a hard fought battle with cancer.  

Mrs. LeGrande was born in Randolph County on June 25, 1971 to Richard Bray and Vickie Lynn Burgess.  Tonya was a graduate of Asheboro High School and was employed as a supervisor with Daymark Recovery Services.  Tonya was a hard-working, caring, and selfless woman who was dedicated to her family.  She was a loving wife, mother, and Mimi who loved spending time with her grandchildren.  Tonya loved vacationing at the beach with family.  Also, she enjoyed shopping, bowling, ice skating, roller skating, and theatrical plays.

She is survived by her husband of 13 years, Will LeGrande; daughter, Brittany LeGrande of High Point; son, Taylor LeGrande of Asheboro; grandchildren, Olivia, Jayden, Kylee, Kade, Zoe, Kolson, Carter, and Kaesen; goddaughter, Courtney Pineda; and godson, Trestan Baldwin; aunt, Teresa Hamilton and husband Jimmy.

The family would like to express a special thank you to the staff of Hospice of the Piedmont and the Duke Cancer Center for the compassionate care given to Tonya.

The family will receive friends on Friday, November 17, 2023 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue in Asheboro.  Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 18, 2023 at 2:00 pm at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park.
