Tony Ray York, Jr.

Tony Ray York, Jr., age 19, of Asheboro died Saturday, November 7, 2015 at his home. Mr. York was born February 13, 1996, the son of Tony Ray York Sr. and Radeanna Lynn Kearns. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Raeford Eugene Kearns; grandmother, Clara Ann Harvell; and his uncle, Charles Franklin York, Jr. Tony loved to play his video games with his many friends. He was a 2015 graduate of Providence Grove High School where he was a member of the JROTC. In addition to his parents, Tony is survived by his brother: Jerome Hogan and wife Ellery of Asheboro; grandmother, Vina Lee Kearns of Asheboro; and grandparents, Charles Franklin and Rhonda York of Seagrove. The family will receive friends Tuesday, November 10, 2015 from 6 - 8 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC. The funeral will be held Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tim Isley officiating. Burial will be in the Callicutt Chapel Wesleyan Church Cemetery, following the service.
