Timothy Nolan Armstrong

Timothy Nolan "Tim" Armstrong, age 55, of 4156 Jackson Creek Rd., Denton died Friday, February 15, 2008 at Duke University Medical Center, Durham. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, February 17, 2008 at 4:00 PM at Ramseur Wesleyan Church, 2038 Leonard Park St., Ramseur with Rev. Claudie Harrison, Rev. Jeff Lamb and Rev. Kevin Stumbo officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mr. Armstrong was a native of Randolph County and was employed with Just-Kris Distributing of Asheboro. He attended Ramseur Wesleyan Church and was a member of Gravel Hill Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father, Nelson Armstrong and his brother, Phil Armstrong. Tim was an avid golfer. He is survived by his wife, Gaye Pyrtle Armstrong; daughter, Stacey A. Ferguson and her husband Rodney of Staley, NC; son, Shane Armstrong of Denton, NC; grandchildren, Kelsey, Skylar and Zoe Ferguson, Grayson Armstrong and Savannah Myrick; mother, Lucille G. Armstrong of Asheboro, NC; brothers, Ken Armstrong of Denton, NC, George Armstrong of Trinity, NC and sister, Sharon Armstrong of Farmer, NC. The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 16, 2008 from 6 - 8 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC.
