Thomas Preston Staples

Thomas "Tommy" Preston Staples, age 59, of 2159 N. Fayetteville St. Apt. 7-F, Asheboro died Tuesday, August 2, 2011. Mr. Staples was born August 20, 1951 in Guilford County, the son of Jennings and Carole Staples. Tommy served in the US Coast Guard and was employed with deep River Dye in Randleman. He is survived by sister:, Susan Smith and her husband Keith of FL.; Lucy Sykes and her husband Roger of Asheboro, Audrey Armentrout and her husband Glenn of FL.; brothers: Jake Staples and his wife Carol of Ramseur, David Staples of Asheboro, Michael Staples of Supply, Jessie Staples and his wife Patsy of Asheboro, and Samuel Staples of Trinity; and his favorite dog, Dusty. A Memorial Service will be held Friday, August 5, 2011 at 6:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel, 600 South Main Street, Randleman. The family will receive friends following the memorial service.
