Thomas Wayne Needham

Thomas Needham, age 64, of Asheboro passed away on Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at the Randolph Hospice House. Mr. Needham was born in Candor, NC on May 10, 1952 to Elgin and Betty Jean Lammonds Needham. He was retired from the furniture industry after 25 years of service. Thomas enjoyed woodworking, fishing, and loved the outdoors. He is survived by his daughter, Beverly Scott and husband Gary of Mt. Gilead; 10 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; fiancee, Karen Shepard of Asheboro; step children, Dainya Erickson, Richard Lee, and Josie Godfrey; sisters, Peggy Deaton of Candor, Faye Needham Hulsey of Robbins; and brothers, Brad Needham of Asheboro and Greg Needham of Albemarle. . The family will receive friends Thursday, March 16, 2017 from 3:00-4:00 pm at Liberty Fellowship Church, 8121 New Hope Road in Denton. A celebration of life service also will be held during the visitation. Pugh Funeral Home in Asheboro is serving the Needham family.
