Thomas Hollis McPherson

Thomas Hollis McPherson, age 80, of Asheboro died Saturday, October 18, 2008 at his home. Mr. McPherson was born July 29, 1928, the son Clarence Henry and Christina Brown McPherson. Mr. McPherson was a native of Randolph County and a charter member of the Mountain of Faith Christian Church. He was self employed home repairman. He was preceded in death by his wife Jerline Rich McPherson. He is survived by one daughter: Sharon McPherson Rich of Cedar Falls, NC and two sons: Steven Wayne McPherson and Bruce Alan McPherson, both of Asheboro, NC; 12 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren; two sisters: Alline McGrady of New Salem, NC and Shirley McPherson of Grays Chapel, NC; two brothers: Jackie McPherson of Climax, NC, and Vernie McPherson of Archdale, NC. The family will receive friends Monday, October 20, 2008 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 21, 2008 at 2:00 PM at Mountain Of Faith Christian Church, 1895 Mountain Of Faith Rd., Asheboro with Rev. Thurman Williams officiating.
