Thelma Cooper Cribb, age 83, of Asheboro died Friday, September 3, 2010 at her home.
Funeral services will be held Monday, September 6, 2010 at 11:00 am at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bobby E. Marsh officiating. Burial will be in Randolph Memorial Park.
Mrs. Cribb was a native of Randolph County, formerly attended Grace United Methodist Church and was retired from Arrow Precision. She enjoyed bird watching, flowers, dancing and attending her church. Mrs. Cribb was preceded in death by her parents, Pete Varner and Nettie Pearl Cooper Dorman and her husband Archie Edward Cribb.
She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Lynn and Junior Davis of Asheboro, Dawn and Scott Aldridge of Randleman, Jane and Paul Lawson, Jr. of Archdale, son and daughter-in-law, Archie Galen and Cheryl Cribb of Asheboro; 12 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; 2 great great-grandchildren; sisters, Faye Scotton of Staley and Barbara Varner Crotts; brothers, Edward Lee Dorman of Ramseur, Jesse Varner and William Varner.
The family will receive friends Sunday, September 5, 2010 from 6 to 8 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC.
