Tammy Lynn Hayes, age 47, of Randleman died Monday, April 3, 2017 at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital, Greensboro. Tammy was a native of Randolph County and was employed by Heath Amusement. Tammy was a great mom and loved children. She had a heart of gold, and was a kind and caring person and enjoyed going to the beach. Tammy is preceded in death by her father James Ray Hayes, grandparents, Worth and Hallie Heath and Charles and Mada Agnes Hayes. She is survived by her son: Tyler Simmons and Colleen Fleming of Raleigh; mother,Sherry Lynn Heath of Randleman; sister: Jamie Hayes Baker and Steven of Randleman;nephew, Lukas Baker of Randleman. The family will receive friends Thursday, April 6, 2017 from 2:00-3:00 p.m. at New Salem United Methodist Church, 623 New Salem Rd., Randleman, NC. A memorial service will follow at 3:00 pm with Rev. Joyce Bunn and Rev. Rick McCranie officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Diabetes Association-Raleigh Office, 2418 Blue Ridge Road, Suite 206, Raleigh, NC 27607 or American Lung Association of NC, 514 Daniels Street #109, Raleigh, NC 27605.
