Tammy Sue Batten

Tammy Sue Parker Batten, age 41, of 444 Patton Ave., Asheboro died Wednesday, October 20, 2010 at her home. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 23, 2010 at 11:00 AM at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Danny Jarrell officiating. Burial will be in the Panther Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Batten was a native of Nash County, NC and was a longtime employee of Blue Mist Restaurant. Tammy was a member of To God Be The Glory Church. Tammy was a kind and loving woman who touched the hearts of many people. She is survived by her of sister, Brenda Thompson of Asheboro, NC; stepson, Clint Batten of Ramseur, NC; stepdaughter, Andrea Batten of Ramseur, NC; niece, Danielle Poole of Ramseur, NC; nephew, Christopher Tew of Ramseur, NC; several other nieces and nephews; and husband, Doug Batten of Ramseur, NC. The family will receive friends on Friday, October 22, 2010 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC and other times at her home.
