Swannie A. Jordan

Swannie Pugh Jordan, age 83, of Randleman died Saturday, August 6, 2016 at Universal Health Care Of Ramseur, Ramseur. Mrs. Jordan was born May 19, 1933 the daughter of Arthur and Ethel Lineberry Pugh. Swannie was a native of Randolph County. She enjoyed crocheting, working in her flowers and taking care of her loved ones. Swannie was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. In addition to her parents Swannie is preceded in death by her husband, Earl Clay Jordan and her brother Wilford Pugh. She is survived by three sons: Ricky Dale Jordan and his wife Janet of Asheboro, Kenny Jordan and his wife Linda of Sophia, and Terry Jordan and his wife Patty of Ramseur; grandchildren: Darrell Jordan of Trinity, Rodney Jordan of Asheboro, Emily Jordan Moore and her husband Brad of Liberty, Andrew Marley of Asheboro and Alyssa Jordan of Ramseur; great-grandchildren: Caleb, Aaron and Sierra Jordan and Clay Marley; sister: Letha Saunders and her husband Harold of Franklinville. The family will receive friends Monday, August 8, 2016 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC. The funeral service will be held Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at 11:00 am at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel, 600 South Main Street, Randleman with Rev. J. Arnold Luther officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park, Asheboro. Memorials may be made to Midway Wesleyan Church, 331 Worthville Rd., Randleman, NC 27317.
