Suzanne Davidson Cope

Suzanne Davidson Cope, age 55, of 1641 Buck Ford Road, Asheboro died Sunday, January 27, 2013 at Randolph Hospital, Asheboro. Mrs. Cope was born June 22, 1957 in Camden, NJ. She was an avid collector, sports fan and loved to celebrate everything about Christmas. From music, movies and glassware collections to cheering on her Washington Redskins and favorite NASCAR drivers, Suzanne was ever so passionate. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. The light of Suzanne's life was her grandson, Memphis. She was preceded in death by her parents, John D. and Jeanne M. Davidson. She is survived by her loving husband, Michael Cope, of Asheboro; daughter, Kristi P. Jones and husband, Corey, of Charlotte, NC; grandson, Michael Memphis Jones of Charlotte; sisters, Paula J. Mohr and husband Andrew of Powells Point, NC; nephew, Dwayne H. Story of Powells Point, NC; Lynne M. Davidson and husband Spencer Benson, of University Park, MD.; step-daughter, Amanda Lambert and husband Joe Lambert, of Millers Creek, NC; step-granddaughter, Hailey Lambert of Millers Creek, NC. A memorial service will be held Saturday, Feb. 2, at 4:30 p.m. at The Episcopal Church Of The Ascension, in Hickory, NC, with Rev. Karla Woggon officiating. The ashes will be interred on the church grounds. The family will receive friends at the church following the service.
