Susan Marcel Parks

Susan Marcel Parks, age 59, of Burlington passed away on Sunday, May 22, 2016 at Alamance Regional Medical Center in Burlington. Susan was born in Randolph County on October 17, 1956 to Harold and Ann Pyrtle Parks. She was formerly employed with Holt Hosiery Mill and the Randolph County Sheriff Department. Susan was an avid welder, gardener, and weight lifter. She was preceded in death by her father and her nephew, Jamie Trotter. She is survived by her spouse, Regina Hatch and her daughter, Jeannie Hatch Inman of Cedar Grove and her granddaughters, Tiffany, Kaitlyn, and Ciara; mother, Ann Barker of Asheboro; sister, Donita Trotter of Asheboro; and brother, Anthony Wayne Parks and wife Julie of Asheboro. The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 26, 2016 from 12:30-1:30 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro. Funeral services will follow on Thursday at 2:00 pm at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel.
