Susan Hamilton McLeod

Susan Hamilton McLeod, age 57, of Page Street, Troy died Monday, July 7, 2014 at her home. Susan was born March 8, 1957 at Franklin County, NC the daughter of the late Ollie Franklin Hamilton and Jane Hunt Hamilton of Troy. She was a 1975 graduate of West Montgomery High School and Human Resources Manager at Montgomery Community College for fifteen years. She was a member of Laurel Hill Baptist Church. In addition to her mother, Susan is survived by her husband of twenty-three years: Michael McLeod of the home; five daughters: Brandy Wallace of Carthage, Michelle Cribbs of Chapin, SC, Melissa Jackson of Charleston, SC, Shannon Sterdivant of Concord, Stephanie Ritchie of Norwood; five grandchildren; two sisters: Trudy Labreck of Orlando, FL, Donna Lemons of Troy; one brother: Terry Hamilton of Troy. The family will receive friends Tuesday, July 8, 2014 from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Pugh-Troy Funeral Home, 211 North Main Street, Troy; other times at the home. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11:00 AM at Laurel Hill Baptist Church, 1569 Troy Candor Rd, Candor, with Rev. Wayne VunCannon and Rev. Robert Wallace officiating.
