Susan Elaine Caviness

Susan Elaine Caviness, age 58, of 8 Apple Tree Lane, Greensboro died Thursday, August 21, 2008 at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital, Greensboro. Funeral services will be held Sunday, August 24, 2008 at 2:00 pm at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tim Lowry and Rev. Carol Dyson officiating. Burial will be in Randolph Memorial Park. Susan was the daughter of A. B. and Ruth Caviness. She graduated from Asheboro High School, majored in history at Elon College and received her Masters in History from U.N.C.G. Susan retired after 30 years of service as a history teacher with Eastern Randolph High School and later was a substitute teacher for Guilford County School. She will be missed by her family and all of her friends. She is survived by father and step mother, A. B. and Mary Caviness; sister, Patricia Sugg; sister and brother-in-law, Kay and Jim Donivant; nieces, Crys Roeder, Amanda Donivant; nephew, James Donivant; cousins, Zack and Alex Roeder. The family will receive friends Saturday, August 23, 2008 from 6 - 8 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC.
