Sulon Carroll Hill

Sulon Carroll Hill, age 87, of Randleman died Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at Randolph Hospice House. Mr. Hill was born November 10, 1927 in Randolph County to Garland and Jessie Maude Hill. He was an Army veteran of WWII and a member of Clear View Baptist Church in Franklinville. Mr. Hill was retired from United Brass Works after 15 years of service. In addition to his parents, Mr. Hill was preceded in death by his wife, Mona P. Hill. He is survived by his son, Jerry S. Hill and wife Diane of Asheboro; grandchildren, Michael Hill and wife Brooke of Bethpage, TN, Kristi Hill McCoy and husband Jason of Mt. Juliet, TN, Amos Routh and wife Gail of Grays Chapel; 9 great grandchildren; special friends, Bruce and Mandy Honeycutt. The family will receive friends Friday, August 7, 2015 from 10:00-11:00 AM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 AM in the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Jeff Johnson officiating. Burial with military honors by the Randolph County Honor Guard will be in Randolph Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to Christian's United Outreach Center (CUOC), PO Box 784, Asheboro, NC 27204.
