Sue Rush

Mary Sue Yow Rush, age 66, of Asheboro died Tuesday, January 3, 2012 at Randolph Hospice House, Asheboro. A graveside service will be held Thursday, January 5, 2012 at 2:00 pm at Oaklawn Cemetery, with Pastor Wyatt Hoogkamp officiating. Mrs. Rush was a native of Randolph County and formerly of Dothan, AL. She was of the Baptist faith. She was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed crafts and traveling. Mrs. Rush was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Dale Rush and her parents, Augusta and Carene Powers Yow. She is survived by her daughter, Kim Rush and Brad Hoogkamp of Asheboro; son, Tony Rush and his wife Jessica of Dothan, AL; grandchildren, Will Spencer, Pate Spencer and Easton Rush all of Dothan, AL; twin sister, Sara Hudson of Asheboro; brother, Harvey Yow of Asheboro. The family will receive friends Thursday, January 5, 2012 from 12 noon - 1:30 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Randolph, P.O.
