Sue McPherson Hinshaw

Sue McPherson Hinshaw, age 73, of Mooresville died Monday, July 24, 2017 at her home. Mrs. Hinshaw was born March 29, 1944 in Randolph County to Eli and Beulah McPherson. She was a 1962 graduate of Asheboro High School and Asheboro Business College. Mrs. Hinshaw was formerly employed with Burlington industries and Blue Cross/Blue Shield. She enjoyed reading, bird watching, antiquing and watching Pastor Penn Perry of First Presbyterian Church in Charlotte. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hinshaw was preceded in death by her son, Eric Scott Hinshaw. She is survived by her husband, Max Hinshaw; son, Jeff Hinshaw and wife Karen of Greensboro; grandchildren, Kaelyn and Dillon Hinshaw. The family will receive friends Sunday, July 30, 2017 from 1:00 - 2:30 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 PM in the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jenna Grogan officiating. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery.
