Sudie Lemonds Stoker

Sudie Lemonds Stoker, age 74, of Troy passed away Thursday, February 2, 2017 at her home. Sudie was born May 5, 1942 in Montgomery County, the daughter of Garland and Beulah Richardson Lemonds. She was a member of Long Hill Baptist Church and a former employee of Bates Nightwear. She was a sincere, giving person who deeply loved her family. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by three brothers: Charlie Lemonds, Guy Lemonds and Oscar Lemonds. She is survived by her husband James "Allen" Stoker of the home; four children: Kathy Saunders (Chuck) of Candor, Teresa Stoker Simmons (Lee) of Troy, Tina Stoker of Troy and James Stoker, Jr. (Heather) also of Troy; 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; two brothers: Winfred Lemonds and Lonnie Lemonds (Jo Ann), both of Troy. Funeral services will be held Sunday, February 5, 2017 at 2:00 pm at Long Hill Baptist Church, 637 Capelsie Rd., Candor with Rev. Mark Forrest officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
