Stoney Powers

Stoney Powers, age 64, of 197 Drum St., Asheboro died Tuesday, April 21, 2009 in Asheboro. Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 25, 2009 at 11:00 am at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in New Hope Memorial Gardens. Mr. Powers was a native of Bladen County and retired from Klaussner Furniture. He is survived by his daughters, Donna Thacker Sharpe of Randleman, Amy Powers of Siler City; sister, Maggie Bryant of Bladen County; brother, Kenneth Powers of Bladen County; 4 grandchildren. The family will receive friends Friday, April 24, 2009 from 6 - 8 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC.
