Stella Jane Altman

Beloved Mother, Sister, and Memaw, Stella Jane Wall Altman, age 77, Denton, NC died Saturday, July 26, 2014 at Thomasville Medical Center, Thomasville. Mrs. Altman was born May 19, 1937 the daughter of Gray Edward and Ruby English Wall. Stella Jane was a native of Randolph County and retired office manager with Wall Printing of High Point, NC. She was a graduate of Trinity High School, Class of 1955, and a member of Amity Hill Baptist Church. She was an avid fan of South Davidson High School Athletics and loved her dog, Casey. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a grandchild, Baby Wall. She is survived by: son and his wife, Kevin and Sherri Wall of Denton, NC; son and his wife, Keith and Christie Wall of Harkers Island, NC; daughter and her husband, Lisa and Curtis Hagy of Sophia, NC; granddaughter and her husband, Sarah and Dylan Teague; grandson, Curtis Dean Hagy, Jr.; granddaughter, Holly Marie Wall; grandson, Easton Gray Wall; great grandchild, MacKenzie Faith Teague; one sister: Janet Wall Winslow, widow of Charles Winslow, of Thomasville, NC and one brother and his wife: Barry and Cathy Wall of Asheboro, NC. The family will receive friends Monday, July 28, 2014 from 6 - 8 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC. The funeral will be Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at 1:00 PM at the Amity Hills Baptist Church, 4140 U.S. Hwy 64 W., Asheboro with Rev. Bill Watson, Rev. Barry Wall, and Rev. Keith Wall officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Vernon United Methodist Church Cemetery, Trinity.
